Your Document Library

Apply to four grants and you will upload the same insurance certificate four times. Your document library exists so you do not have to.

Every file you upload to an application is saved to your library automatically. There is no button to press and nothing to set up.

Your library follows you

It belongs to you, not to a grant or an organisation. Apply somewhere new next year and last year's annual report is still sitting there.

Attaching something you have already uploaded

On any file upload question, choose to attach from your library instead of browsing your computer. Search by name, or sort by date if you only remember roughly when you uploaded it. You can pick up to 50 files at once.

What lands on the application is a copy. After that the two have nothing to do with each other:

Remove the file from this application

Your library is untouched, and so is every other application.

Delete the file from your library

Every application you already attached it to keeps its copy.

Attach the same file to five grants

Five independent copies. No limit.

Every copy is checked again

An attached file goes through the same document checks as a fresh upload. That can feel redundant when you know the file is fine, but each programme asks for something slightly different, so a certificate that satisfied one grant's requirements will not automatically satisfy another's.

Deleting a file

Deleting takes it out of the picker straight away. You then have 24 hours to change your mind and restore it. After that it is permanently gone and support cannot bring it back.

Deleting never touches your applications. Anything you have already attached stays attached.

Smaller things worth knowing

  • Upload the same file twice and you still only get one library entry.

  • There is no limit on how many files you keep.

  • Files that grant staff upload on your behalf do not go into your library.
